Cawthorne Church Concert

16th May 2026

A fantastic evening where the band were proud to play alongside the Cawthorne Junior School Brass Band and School Choir. The stars of the evening were definitely the children who gave a fantastic performance!

No Cheese, Gromit!

26th April 2026

What a cracker of an afternoon (No pun intended)! Not a spare seat was to be found at the Bluebell Suite, Dodworth, where the band’s live performance of the soundtrack to Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out was held. A fantastic family friendly event thoroughly enjoyed by both the band and audience!

Awards Night 2026

Our annual awards night was a wonderful evening enjoyed by everyone, bringing players and friends together to celebrate another fantastic year. It was a chance for everyone to relax, let their hair down, and enjoy each other’s company away from rehearsals and performances, while recognising the hard work, dedication, and talent that have made 2026 such a memorable year for the band. Filled with laughter, applause, and a real sense of pride, the evening was a fitting celebration of all that has been achieved. We are delighted to share and celebrate our 2026 winners, whose commitment and contribution have helped make this year so special.

Christmas 2025

Here are just a few snapshots from the band’s many carolling outings over Christmas 2025, with a handful of festive concerts along the way. Wrapped up in gloves and hats, the band braved the winter chill to bring warmth, music, and Christmas cheer to communities across Barnsley. Whether performing on busy streets, at local events, or in concert settings, every appearance was met with smiles, support, and a wonderful festive spirit.

Some of the band award winners for 2022, Alyson – most improved player, Eddie – dedication to the band, Richard – Player of the year and for Donna and Bridget flowers for services behind the scenes this year!
