We were very honoured to have a visit from Roger Webster. He is the principal cornet of Grimethorpe, ex principal of Black Dyke, and works for musical instrument company, Besson.
Roger gave us a masterclass in how to warm up and prepare ourselves to play, and we even had a short question and answer session. Afterwards he joined the back row cornets for the rest of the rehearsal!
Thank you Roger.
